Weigh Up Based On Books Red, White, and Blue (America #2)
VERY good book! Love the fact that we have a single woman as President. She is struggling with her religion. Definately getting the 3rd in the series to see what happens. :)

A good patriotic story with Christian message

I think because of this book I probably won't read anymore political fiction. What a terrible ending. It needed a book three. But nothing. Ugh

Red White and Blue is the story of the best friend, campaign manager and then chief of staff of the first female president of the United States. The main character, Kate Rosen, is a forty-something woman who has made a career as a politician's aide. "Her" politician is Emily Benton, a woman from a family which has already produced one president. Kate is a devout Christian; Emily is a devout politician. The book is about the conflict between the two. There is real evil in this book, and I think

it was slow. i didn't like the relationship growing between Kate and Emily's ex-husband.A good patriotic story with Christian message

Enjoyable and easy read. Didn't know it was the second book though so I may have to back up and read the first one! Story was interesting enough to keep me reading to find out what happened. Although i will say the ending wrapped up suddenly and left me wondering what happened to Kate...maybe there is a third book?
