It' s poor effort in my humble opinion. The dialogue tends to be confusing and there is little time to relate to the main character Wayne Gruzsa. Overall the entire book seems a bit flat and fails to entertain. And the climax never really shows up and things seem to be solved magically. I don't recommend it.Makes you wonderThis book starts you out in one place and takes you to an entirely different one as the intensity builds from mild to strong while you wonder where its going..
This was a long read in that I was constantly putting it down. I rented it from the library and it took me the full 14 days to finish, this is very strange for me. I like the premise, but the reading felt like a job...and I don't read books to have a part time job!! Characters were well developed and likable, storyline was difficult to stay involved with?!

This book was definitely different than what I've been reading lately. The writer lays out a good story, sets a good scene and kept me going through my head on previous information he gave. What I found though was that I felt the writing was devoid of an emotional side. Even so, I did enjoy it.
That was a very interesting story... but very enjoyable. A good blend of twists and turns...
I actually enjoyed this book more than I expected as a Christian mystery. I liked the characters, and I enjoyed the community that they lived in together. The Special Ops veteran with PTSD was a bit more unconventional in his actions that I would have imagined could work in real life, but I liked him...and the other characters as well, and so I enjoyed the book in spite of myself.
Not my cup of tea. I'm not partial to 'Christian fiction' as a genre, although I've read a few books that were quite good. This one isn't one of them. The hero is appropriately troubled, but still comes off as too good to be true. Little old ladies fasting and praying? Angels? Uhh... not for me.The writing is also strangely disjointed. A lot of sentence fragments and thoughts that go down a path, only to end. It has a staccato rhythm that works really well in hard boiled detective novels, but
