While often in life this is the case, that problems arise due to miscommunication, I found myself annoyed that Lia just didn't talk to the people around her to sort out her issues. I had high hopes for this one.. I got exactly what I was hoping for and then some. Fletcher did an great job at telling as sweet story, keeping it light and yet insightful. Being raised in Heidiland means I am not only fond of winter sports, but I have lots of personal experience with it. This being a skating novel means there is lots of sport bits I can relate to.
