Carter & Layla continue their path to gain freedom from her family so they can start their own family & not look over their shoulders. Layla could be really insecure but Carter has opened up his heart to her & is honest about his past so when her father & mother raise doubts about Carter it isn't something she takes seriously, thank God! 3.5 stars.Though this series isn't a favorite of mine, it still kept me entertained for the most part. It was a delight to read about Carter's over the top possessiveness over Layla, so if you love an obsessive caveman alpha hero I bet you'll enjoy this book like I did.Short, sweet, sexy and filled with outrageously hot steamy scenes, Alexa Riley is indeed an author to look out for! 4 1/2 stars, This was a great conclusion to this series. Carter is just as possessive, and jealous in this volume as the others and we also see his sweeter, softer side. Layla is his world as long as she is safe, happy, and with him Carter is happy. Everything is tied up nicely with all the questions answered.
