Really great arguments and cultural and historical interpretation of the Biblical texts supporting women in places of leadership and ministry.

One of the best books I've ever read about the woman's created purpose in leadership; and how we are faced to reign beside the men in our lives. Not beneath them, not above them, but equally with them.

I've just begun reading this book, and am so far completely disappointed in the author's loose, inaccurate, and false Biblical references. He says, for example, that all of the men abandoned Christ at the crucifixion. The gospel of John tells us that Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus went to lengths to take Jesus down from the cross, anoint and bury him in a nearby tomb. He also says that Mary Magdalene was the only person to have touched Christ before his ascension. What about "doubting
