Article Epithetical Books Attack on Titan: Colossal Edition 1 (Attack on Titan: Colossal Edition #1)
I'm reviewing all four currently released colossal editions that are currently out here. The battle scenes are gory and epic, but I really have massive problems. Too many pace breaking flashbacks, long periods of time of characters just discussing things they don't know, and characters being intentionally obtuse just to keep the mystery going. It takes such a long time to learn anything, and even then it really keeps the reader almost too in the dark. Maybe try it if you really like zombie

I just wrote a long ass review and it was lost somehow.. what you should know is that I loved it, the pacing is a lot quicker in the manga, how the fuck did he imagine all of this. And 5/5 Stars

It's so funny I expected to catch up to the anime-covered material before the second part of season 3 aired (it's six months, no biggie) when I started reading this. Yeah, no. I really didn't expect how faithful the anime was to the manga, so all the reveals/surprises/twists did nothing for me. Even the dialogue was pretty faithful to the manga. While I could definitely see the improvement in Isayama's art over time, the art is still more rough than what I'm used to seeing in published manga.

Significantly better than the eternally whiny and ponderous anime based on it. Lots of cool ideas hampered by inconsistent art and some of the most charmingly awkward pacing in memory.

My first manga was AMAZING

4/5☆s to Attack on Titan Colossal Edition 1 by Hajime Isayama. As a fan of the anime, I was more than thrilled to get ahold of this 944 page behemoth for #tometopple. I've read the first two manga volumes & loved them, so I was sure I would love this as well. And I did! But I also found that my distance from the anime - it's been nearly a year since I last watched the first season - did make it more difficult to connect with the story. I also struggled with how little of the story is told in

If you have not read these yet, you need to think about what you are doing with your life! I have fallen in love with Attack on Titan. If you are a fan of gore and a good plot that doesn't follow the normal anime/manga slice of life theme, pick this up! Story follows a young boy and his best friends who inhabit a small enclosed area on earth. They have never seen the outside world, the Titans had appeared and wiped out almost all mankind. Not much is known about them, their only chance of
