Volume 2, and the romantic misunderstandings continue. An ex-girlfriend of Ôtani's shows up and she is a cute little thing that looks just like Chiharu. Maybe Ôtani does have a type after all. Risa convinces herself that the ex has shown up because she wants to get back together with Ôtani and does all she can to help that happen.

Meanwhile, a really tall and really handsome guy catches Risa up in a bear hug. It is Haruka, an old friend from grade school. Back then he was the target of bullies and Risa defended him, so he's got a crush on her. Nice as he is to Risa, though, he is a real jerk to Ôtani. As Risa continues to defend Ôtani to Haruka, he asks her the same question everyone else is thinking--is she in love with Ôtani? Is Ôtani in love with Risa?

Appraise About Books Love★Com, Vol. 2 (Lovely★Complex #2)

It was a really cute book and I would recommend it to others.

While this is still so much your typical manga, with the 'wrong' two people winding up attracted to one another, the relationship that is building here is rather deep and solid, which makes me really like this book. There is nothing superficial about any of the characterizations - and in fact some rather deep topics are introduced at the end of this volume that carries over into the next. I'm pleased to see gender issues addressed so honestly, and the reactions of those around them, doesn't go

Yet again it's funny and lovely, the art, the banter and characters. I was waiting for a new character to come in and jealous any one of them. It's a cliche that never gets old. Love triangle never gets old. A good competition between two guys to get the girl. And the girl confused on which one does she likes. Or yet again... one guy denying his feelings towards the girl but yet doesn't want to lose the girl. Damn! The story is getting interesting and funny!!

Reading these volumes feels so long because of how much dialogue they try and cram into one tiny panel I swear

This book! So many plot twists! We learn just how wonderful Nakahara's sense of humor is and how great she is with character development. And that Haruka guy. He is one creepy bastard. LOL but that just makes him so awesome!

The plot thickens, hahaSo cute!

It is getting better I think. Otani is a cutey boy, I like his personality, kind of serious and stern, and actually really nice. The same with Risa... I like that she is never embarrassed to say or do things, she feels so comfortable around Otani that she is always herself. And I also like the couple who are their friends (I do not remember their names) who are trying to get them together. That scene were Otani was kind of depressed at the coffee shop and the two of them 'reading' his feeling
