Very deep subjects, at times quite sad, but at others extremely uplifting! I learned a lot about Alaska as well.
I am almost certain that I have already read this book before, likely last year in January, but for some reason failed to mark it as read. I think this somehow diminished my enjoyment of this. Plus, all the preaching and religious stuff really got on my nerves this time as it hasn't in the past. It just felt overdone to me. Anyway, on to book 3. I hope I haven't read it already, too. P.S. How did "unthaw" slip past the proofreader, not once but twice?
Another great read by Tracie Peterson! This is book #2 in the series Alaskan Quest and it picks up right where book #1 ends. So you should really read #1 Summer of the Midnight Sun first to understand what is going on in Under the Northern Lights.
This book is wonderful. It was the first I read by Tracie Peterson, she has a way to keep you from putting the books down. I read this as an all in one book, it is a trilogy called Alaskan Quest, HIGHLY recommended!
Leah goes back to Last chance as jacob and Jayce have asked her too, but when she gets there, her friends say that Jayce is there. She soon finds out it isn't Jayce, but Chase who has come to stock up on supplies and dogs. He convinces Leah that he has Jacob, Jayce and Helaina and that if she doesn't cooperate they will die. I love Tracie Peterson. I think I have said this is just about every review I do for her books. But I really do love her books they are amazing and have such great plots and plot twists that it keeps the book going and it doesnt really get slow or become boring. I am really glad that my library had the next book in this series becuase lets just say that there was a cliff hanger like last time and I am totally freaking out about it! Cannot wait for the next book!!
