This is just a great volume of story all around. The crazy shenanigans of Mariabel, the adorable side story with Jiele and Lei, gorgeous and totally sexy Aram/Airi action and lots of backstory on Raz and his connection to Airi. If you've enjoyed the previous volumes, you'll definitely like this one.Airi Hoshino is a romantic. Not only is it her goal to marry the man of her dreams, she truly believes that if she arrives at school for, on time, for two years, the magic mirror she inherited will grant her wish to marry her true love. Just kinda turning mediocre story wise, i know its only 4 volumes so thats kinda to be expected wrapping up so short but...idk im kinda bored. theres a lot going on and its sometimes hard to follow and it just isnt holding me3* for the art though, love Hino!
Overall Series Rating 2 StarsThere is a wrongness to MeruPeri Aram might grow due to his brothers messed up spell but hes still a little kid (hes 7!) so after the first volume when Airi starts falling in like/love this starts getting uncomfortable.Airi is 15 and Arams grown-up body is 17 and if he actually was 17 this would all be cheesy and cute. The fairy-tale aspect of a prince, a magical world and nice artwork but ARAM IS A KID! And I cant get past that.Im awarding points for the artwork
My complaints of this series are the same as all the other books, the pros are also the same:Beautiful art and a cute plot line, but I just can't deal with the 6yr gap between the main characters who have fallen in love with each other. It would be easier to handle if Aram was 17 and turned into a 9yr old every time he aged or if they were both of consenting age (both of them being much older).
Whilst the story is somewhat enjoyable, there remains the main disconcerting issue that Aram is a 7 year old, and no matter how many times his body changes to that of a 17 year old, it's still weird and wrong for him to be in a relationship with a 15 year old, getting married, and the romantic/erotic scenes. The rest of the story I'm enjoying - I smile everytime Jeile calls Hoshina "Mountain Lily Maiden" and the artwork is beautiful.
