Rendition As Books Phantom in the Night (B.A.D. Agency #2)

After losing her mother to a vigilante killer, Terri Mitchell has dedicated her life to justice. Working covertly as a new agent for the Bureau of American Defence agency, she's consulting with the New Orleans Police Department to bust an organised crime ring suspected of funding terrorism. But when rumours surface of a phantom ghost terrorising and killing the very people she's investigating, she's suspicious.

Nathan Drake has spent his life protecting his family, the only thing that matters to him...until the most feared drug lord in the southeast takes everything Nathan holds dear. Now he's a man on a mission with nothing to lose. He figures he only needs to stay alive long enough to protect the innocent lives the killers are out to destroy.

As the two of them seek a similar goal by different means, Terri and Nathan are drawn deep into an evil underbelly that cuts through all levels of society. Now two people who have no reason to trust must trust in each other or die. And if they die, a deadly attack will be unleashed on thousands of innocent people.

Appraise Containing Books Phantom in the Night (B.A.D. Agency #2)
I really enjoyed this couple, and I enjoyed the mystery.

If I could give this book a negative 5 stars rating, I certainly would. Where do I even start? The book is said to be of both romantic and detective genres, whereas it fails to be both.First, it's romance is just so shallow that it sounds like high school loves while both characters are grown up detective and SpecOps agent. The authors do not spend too little time to polish the romance element except when describing the love-making scenes, which they wrote IN TOO MUCH DETAILS to more than 5

First off. LOVE. THE. TITLE!! I love the title of the book. Just had to throw that in here. The book kicks off with Nathan Drake in the military where he receives a message from his twin brother Jamie with a note telling him how things are and he ended it with "Laissez les bons temps rouler". Which translates to "Let the good times roll". This has been their code phrase whenever Jamie is in over his head and boy is he in way over his head. He got mixed up with this drug lord called Marseaux.

Dianna Love and Sherrilyn Kenyon come together to make and interesting tale out of the BAD series and I assume as series by Dianna Love. I have never read Diannas work but was immediately drawn into this story and its interesting dilemma of a twin taking the place of his brother in jail only to have his brother die just before he was supposed to be released.Terri Mitchell is an ex-FBI now working for the BAD group. Her partner recently died and her nemesis at the FBI is leading the investigation

This novel by Sherrilyn Kenyon and Dianna Love is an installment in B.A.D. series. This novel was published by Pocket books in 2008.This series is more romantic suspense and not the paranormal style Kenyon and Love, as well are known for.Terri, working with B.A.D. and as a consultant with the New Orleans Police Dept., is out to shut down a possible terrorist attack.Terri's confidence is not at it's highest. She gets a bit defensive anytime her boss questions her on why she doesn't call in back

It was better than I expected. The main characters' story line, Nathan/Jamie Drake and Terri Mitchell, captivated me. When Nathan was eight, his father was killed in a military operation. Since then, he has been the man of the house, taking care of his mom and his twin brother, Jamie. Thus, when he was old enough, Nathan joined the military so that he can support them. Jamie was a genius, but he lacked common sense and was often in many tight spots. There was one tight spot that he could not get

I would have given this book a 4 star rating but I listened to the audiobook and was so distracted by the narrator iiKane's inability to pronounce "ask". She always pronounced it as "ax" or "axed". Drives me crazy!!! Just ruined it for me.
