Representaion Toward Books Dangerous Deception (Dangerous Creatures #2)

From the world of Beautiful Creatures--a dangerous new tale of love and magic continues in the sequel to Dangerous Creatures.

Love is ten kinds a crazy, right?
Let me put it to you this way: If you can get away, run. Don't walk.
Because once you're exposed, you'll never get a Siren outta your head.

Some loves are cursed. Others are...dangerous. Especially the love between wannabe rocker and quarter Incubus, Wesley "Link" Lincoln, and Dark Caster, Siren, and bonafide bad girl, Ridley Duchannes.

But now Ridley is missing, and Link was with her-right up until she vanished. Determined to find her, Link reunites with his New York bandmates and the mysterious Lennox Gates, who wants Rid for himself. Together they travel to the deep south, find the crossroads where blues guitarist Robert Johnson made his deal with the devil, discover a menagerie of Casters locked in cages, and uncover an evil in New Orleans that threatens to destroy them all.

This time, love might not be enough.

Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl, the #1 New York Times bestselling coauthors of the Beautiful Creatures series, deliver their signature blend of mystery, suspense, and romance, with a healthy dose of wit and danger in this sequel to the instant New York Times bestseller Dangerous Creatures.

Commentary Of Books Dangerous Deception (Dangerous Creatures #2)

SPOILERSI did not think that Ridley would have waited it out in the cell just to get more power and then throw away Link like a sack of potatoes. Yes, i know she is greedy and yes she is spoiled but still running away with nox and leavine link. It's like beautiful chaos all over again. Link tells Rid all of his feelings and she turns him away. I never liked Nox but this book just made me purely hate him.

FantasticCould not stop reading. But did not want it to end . The bad thing was I felt sorry for Link and for Nox and could never decide who should triumph and win her heart.

So Ridley was captured and being held hostage, while her friends looked for her. For the entire book. It was more like half a story, with a lot of arguing between the main characters. Not sure I will continue with the series.

I'm just not impressed with this spinoff series. I don't think Garcia is writing with the same fun, captivating voice as in the Beautiful Creatures series, and her characters are so flat! I thought Ridley's thought process in this book was so scattered and boring, and the change of perspective was too slow and unconnected and made me feel disconnected from the books rather than intrigued. I hope she ends the series because the passion is totally gone.

NONONONONOOOO NO NO NO!!!!!!! That is so NOT how you end the book!!!RIDLEY YOU COME BACK HERE RIGHT NOW AND LET LINKY LOVE YOU.... OKay I think I should back up a bit now that I've lent out a little anger... The book on the whole was frankly quite good. The best part is that its story is not like The Beautiful Creatures (not that I dint like that book, which I frankly did and also shed some tears on). The story and the progression is completely different which is amazing seeing as the
