I really liked this book and I learned many things I never knew about Babe Ruth.

I love this book.it shows how even though babe ruth grew up poor,he still became a star.I reccomend this book to anyone who loves baseball, like me!Even Babe ruth grew up poor and was bad,he got the lesson when his dad sent him to a all boys school. There he met a man named brother mathis. This is where his baseball journey begains.

Who was Babe Ruth is a book about the telling of Babe Ruths life. Babe Ruth was a very big trouble maker, his was so bad that he got sent off to boarding school. In boarding school he got better and better at baseball and he got called up to the minors, about a couple years later he got called up to pay with the red Sox and got traded from there on. I would recommend this book to people who are in to baseball.

I really liked the pictures in the book and I like how it taught me how things happened in real life for Babe Ruth. When Babe Ruth was a kid he played baseball with his friends at the orphanage they lived at. He got so good he was able to join the Red Sox. Babe Ruth was traded to the Yankees and he won a lot of World Series. I liked that Babe Ruth always tried as hard as he could even when he didn't like what happened. - G, 6yo

This is a great inspirational book for anyone to read. He struggled at a young age and got into trouble a lot. He was then sent to Saint Mary's Catholic School. His life got better. He began playing baseball at his school. When he got older he got into very bad habits. He was a very talented baseball player.

Read to my son for school, decent. Most of the Who Was books give a round picture of the person..I felt this was way more centered on his baseball career and would've liked to know more about him personally. Overall, not bad.
