Crit Regarding Books Gangsta
Must read

Part of the underrated "Street Lit" genre of books, K'wan recounts a fiction about his young adult life.Essentially, this story showcases the everyday dealings of a gang member. Some of the scenes are brutally violent, expectantly. But for readers who have never been involved with a gang, some real, objective things can be learned from this book. How do gangs operate? Why? Who? K'wan does a nice job of painting an accurate picture, as far as I can tell. The grammar and writing style of this book

Great story line. Sad ending.

I really didn't like this book at all. The plot was very slow & I can't remember if I even got through the whole thing. I've read other K'wan books, so I'm thinking that it was just the storyline that didn't grab me because he's a really talented brother & a great writer...

I was soooo heartbroken in the end!!! #RIPLouLoc #LiftYaHeadQueenSatin

Ive always liked these kind of books. Ever since we read the outsiders in middle school, I was hooked on reading books similar to that one. Then I found this one and it was perfect. The way the story was told made it seem so real and as if you were there. This isnt really a big deal but because theres swears in the book, it makes it seem a lot more real and puts more emotion into it. I personally dont live a gangster life but I i really like reading books like this about things like it but a lot

I love luc loc still my favorite character. and this is my favorite book
