Full disclosure: the author is my mother in law. This was a quick, wholesome read that would be enjoyed by musicians, once-musicians, teens, and once-teens. The narrator has a strong voice that sticks in your head. She is simultaneously sharp and naive, which resonates with me when I think of myself at that age.
