Interpretation In Favor Of Books Dark Magic (Magic #5)

**Author note below
Jake Macgregor, San Francisco's head of the Paranormal Special Forces Unit, has his hands full. He and his team face a powerful enemy threatening to bring down the City by the Bay. With the weight of the world already resting on his broad shoulders, and after a long, hard day's fight against evil, the last thing he has time for is romance. So why do dreams of Cassia fill his nights?
Cassia is a witch with an extraordinary birthright giving her power and honor beyond any being's imagination. It also forbids the one thing Cassia wants the most, the love of the mortal Jake Macgregor. When she intervenes to save his life, the consequences are inescapable-even though the magic they make together is too potent to resist.

Evaluate Appertaining To Books Dark Magic (Magic #5)
Wow, what a great end to a really enjoyable series. The characters were all very likable, strong women and somewhat bossy to begin with men, trying to p[protect them, but in the reason wins out. lots of action, suspense, drama, strong sex scenes and well a very enjoyable read...editing as I said before was painful, my only complaint.

Bought in my TBR pile

A very well done conclusion to a series that has been very enjoyable! I love when a story arc is achieved and everything is tied up in a very satisfying ending.

Awesome story! The best of the series, although I loved them all. I wish there were more! Perfect ending.

Reviewed for queuemyreview.com; book release Nov08What an absolutely stunning conclusion Cheyenne McCray has penned for her Magic series. Dark Magic is everything I would have wished for and couldnt have imagined! This series has everything a paranormal fan could want: Dark Elves, Light Elves, witches, familiars, warlocks, gods, goddesses, shape-shifters, demons, warriors, humans, Dryads, Mistwalkers, and monsters. I probably left something or somebody out too! And did I forget to mention the

So full of bad romance tropes. And not just sex but badly written sex. Juices and obsession with tasting said juices, wut? I had to give up finally on page 292, when I realized I was rolling my eyes and hate-reading. I stopped mid-chapter, went to bed, and realized I had no interest in picking it back up.Jake: Leader type. Grew up on the wrong side of the tracks and is bitter about it. Presumably white since theres no mention of race. Veteran who made a mistake in a leadership position, got his

Book number 5 and the final book in the Magic series. This book was so packed with information that I had to thoroughly read every page and it took FOREVER to finish it! At least it felt like forever. This book mainly deals with Cassia and Jake but it also wraps up everyone's story and concludes the series. I can't say anything without giving something away. It's typical of the series so there's porn here but significantly less than previously, or maybe I just skipped over it to get back to the
