This review is filled with spoilers. Please dont read it if you want to go in blind or just want to know a little. Christopher goes through a rough patch as a teenager and is very aggressive with his GF Samantha (a virgin) one night. He was high on drugs and just wanted to be close to her but he lost control He comes out of it but not before he realizes he pretty much attacked her. She tells him to go and he does. He is lost and drowns himself in alcohol or gets high at a party, I forget.

This is only the second book of AL Jacksons, that I have read. She is the queen of 2nd chance romance stories.
