I am so glad this book was free. I can't even begin to describe everything I found wrong with it. I will say that it COULD be a good book. The plot is interesting, but the author ruins it by thinking her readers have the I.Q's of mushrooms and can't use their imaginations, so she tells us EVERY little detail. The main character, Dayton, drove me insane. Even before I got 25% into the book, I was hoping someone would kill her off. She is too dramatic, even for a teenager. I wish I had a dollar forSo I picked up this book for free on Amazon, but I wasnt completely sure I knew what to expect. Once I started it, I still had no idea what it was about. What I did know was, that I instantly loved Dayton Blainey, the girl that still needed a nightlight as a teenager. A girl that even though life hadnt been kind to her, was determined to remain true to her self and the future she imagined. A girl that was addicted to dumdums, was a total tv/movie buff, absolutely PETRIFIED of heights, a total
Redemption book 1RK RyalsReviewed by S. B. HighLet me start this by saying, this book was recommended. Thank goodness I listened. I loved it! Dayton and Amber, sisters suffer a tragic loss. They are left alone and sent to live with their Aunt, they don't know in a strange and haunting place. The Abbey. Wow this place alone could be a story. But back to Dayton Blainey. When Dayton turns 17 and her whole life turns upside down. Nobody is who they seem, and her life has been decided for her. Her

I got my copy of Redemption through the fantastic Big Christmas Book Giveaway, otherwise I think I'd've missed this book because I don't usually read such stuff! And that would've been my shortcoming :) because I loved this book very much. I may disagree with some actions taken be the main heroine (Day/Dayton) but the storyline is gripping, the characters are quite believing and I could visualize everything what's happening to the characters and their surroundings. And I am so looking forward to
I won the entire trilogy from the wonderful girls at Young Adult and Teen Readers on Facebook. I cant tell you how frigging glad I am that I won them! If you havent read them yet, go get them now. Sisters, Dayton and Amber Blaineys world comes crashing down around them when they lose both of their parents in a tragic car accident.Still deep in grief, they are forced to live with their mothers sister, an unaffectionate woman who lives in a creepy old Abbey, run by an equally creepy religious

An awesome book! I've never read an Angels/Demons/Nephilim book like this one before. It was well-written, exciting, and had fantastic and engaging characters. This story introduces us to Dayton, a teenage girl living in an abbey with a stern and unforgiving aunt and her sister Amber after she was orphaned at age ten. Dayton is as stubborn as a mule and refuses to back down from anything - even when she's terrified. She is also afraid of heights, loves sweets to the point of stashing them in
